Course Description

Health and well-being coaching is becoming a growing career option for many, including nurses. But many people, including nurses, don’t understand how coaching is different nursing. How can a nurse become a certified coach and find satisfying work that uses both their expert knowledge and a coach approach? It’s all about the kind of conversations we have! Understanding how these two skillsets can be used appropriately to improve patient/client health and well-being is critical to working in this dual role.

This presentation has been developed to assist nurses to better understand what coaching is, how they can choose a coaching school to meet their needs, and in what environments coaching positions for nurses can be found.
